I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving as a new patient! The doctor who saw me was more than pleasant, and I felt like he genuinely listened to my symptoms. THE BEST PART is that I needed a shot in my hip and I'm terribly afraid of needles and shots. I kid you not, easiest and fastest shot I have ever had in my life.
I have three children, and inevitably the dr's office will be closed when someone needs it! I've taken my kiddos here on more than one occasion, and honestly I wish it could be their primary care. I don't care for their primary care physician. The folks in the urgent Care clinic have always been caring and promt with the care they provide. They've also been willing to go the extra mile for the loopholes our insurance requires on treatment and medication, which is a big deal to me when dealing with my little ones health. I love this office!
What a great experience!! Was in and out in a flash!! From the receptionist to the Dr. we saw they were quick efficient and very nice!
I will never go back to this Urgent Care. The doctor that diagnosed me didn’t care to listen to me. I have had shingles before and I am trying to be very careful because I have a baby at home. I would have gone to my primary care doctor but they were booked so I went to this urgent care because it’s never busy (now I know why). I told him of the pain I was having in my right side and of the rash I had. He looked at my rash and said he was going to prescribe itch cream. I asked him what about my right side abdominal pain? He said that they didn’t deal with abdominal pain... I wasted money on a copay and for a doctor that didn’t want to look at all of my symptoms and factor all of them in.
I finally said if it's absolutely necessary fine do it. THEN he accused me of denying a stool sample. He said "you have to sign a paper saying that you're denying treatment & won't allow us a blood sample & stool sample". They never even asked for a stool sample. He said "WELL THEY'VE HAD CONSTANT DIARRHEA". We never said they had constant diarrhea. My daughter(17) specifically said she had occasional diarrhea. He kept berating me & telling me "IF THEY STAY SICK IT'S ON YOU."
The Doctor we saw was extremely rude! Went in with all 3 of my kids for a stomach virus. They'd already been checked for Strep & the flu 2 days before & told it was a virus but needed another Doctors note for school because they were still occasionally throwing up & occasionally had diarrhea.The Doctor got mad & told that me if I didn't allow him to take blood from all 3 that "IT'S YOUR FAULT IF YOUR KIDS STAY SICK". After that I started crying. They all had the same thing(the whole family has had it). So I asked, why prick the fingers of all 3 unnecessarily? They did my oldest twice because they took too long the first time & it clotted (the results were negative by the way). He even said that "JUST BECAUSE THE OTHER DOCTOR(the Doctor that he works with that examined them 2 days prior) DIDN'T DO THEIR JOB DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE'S NOT GOING TO DO HIS!" (This guy seems to have some serious ego problems)
I would seriously be content if I could just go to the urgent care and not even have a primary care physician.
